Dear Dog Lovers,

Apologies for the delay in this month's newsletter! We have been busy pampering all the local dogs, embarking on mountain adventures, and teaching a bunch of dog lovers the art of grooming.

Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been up to!

Adventures
We’ve been fortunate to explore some incredible places this November. Highlights include:
- An overnight trip to Lewis Pass with the kids.
- Leanne and the dogs chasing wallabies in the Hunter Hills.
- Our eel trap has been productive, leading to some delicious smoked eel from our very own smoker. Please remember that raw eel is toxic for dogs due to its blood!
- We’ve also spent some time fishing, with Josh catching Gurnard at our local beach.
- There have been adventures in Arthur’s Pass and many local dog-friendly excursions.

In the Parlour
It truly is puppy season (Josh’s favorite time of the year), and our parlour is buzzing with pups! Meet some of our new friends:
- Bart, the 10-week-old Westie
- Floyd, the 12-week-old chocolate Cocker Spaniel
- Shelly, the Shih Tzu
- Maisie and Nelly, both 10 and 8 weeks old respectively, Saint Bernards

We’re enjoying our job immensely! 😍

We bid farewell to Rebecca, a student who trained with us for four months, and we can’t wait to see what she achieves with her new venture, The Furry Dog Mother in Kaiapoi. Jane, a student from Palmerston North, has returned home for Christmas but will rejoin us next year for Block 3.

December is fully booked, and we are working dawn till dusk to prepare all the pooches in mid Canterbury for Santa!
